Farmerdirect.org is a callaborative effort of a small group of farmers in the Raleigh and Durham area. Farmers working together to market fresh, local products directly to the consumer, and area restaurants. All products are grown or raised by one of the farmers in our group. Nature intended animals to be outside in an acitve and healthy environment. Our producers use pasture based systems for raising their animals. Allowing the animals to forage on grass, dig in the dirt, eat bugs (and whatever else they choose) allows for a healthier and better tasting meat.

Our farmers take alot of pride in growing the best product and devilering it as soon as it's harvested. No sitting in the back of a truck for days or weeks. If it got any fresher, you'd have to come out and pick it yourself. Offering a wide range of top quality vegetables and fruits.
